Join Books Bridge Hope, the Tri-City Historical Society, Aluminum City Arts, and our community partners for The Spirit of Service: A Quarter Century of Remembrance, an evening honoring the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

 

This commemorative event brings the community together to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that emerged from one of our nation's most defining moments.

 

The evening will feature Lillie Leonardi, author of In the Shadow of a Badge, who will share stories of service, hope, healing, and the lasting impact of 9/11.

Books Bridge Hope was founded by Lillie Leonardi in 2017 to promote reading, writing and literacy throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Region; as well as to collaborate with fellow non-profit organizations, businesses, school districts, law enforcement and social service agencies to provide essential resources to community members in need of compassionate care. 

 

Lillie is a traditionally and independently published author, former law enforcement professional and 9/11 responder to the Flight 93 crash site.
